Mrs. Pushpa Halwai (Founder)

She has more than 10 years of experience working in the field. During her early years of social work, she realised that the good work of most organisations was very much restricted. So, after years of gaining experience, Mrs. Pushpa Halwai started her own endeavor, ‘Child Help and Care Foundation’ to reach out to more and more underprivileged people on a personal level and help them as per their needs instead of a narrow approach without any limitations.

She is a sincere & dedicated social worker with the heart of gold. She has an unending reserve of energy & enthusiasm. She is an ardent social activist and is selflessly working for the last 10 years for underprivileged and orphan children/women and campaigning for children’s & women’s rights. She is a very hard working, devoted, sincere, passionate, and simple lady who has a strong commitment towards supporting underprivileged women and children in society. Her ability to manage diverse activities coupled with her realistic approach and courage has enabled Child Help and Care Foundation to reach out to a maximum number of marginalized children in need, empowering them and making them future-ready.

A woman with strong beliefs is very sensitive about the rights of the girl children and women empowerment. She has carried her dream from the initial days of her life to working towards the betterment of a girl child and woman. So she created her weapon, Child Help and Care Foundation with the intent to support every underprivileged girl child, and woman so that they can stand on their feet.

“whatever you give; comes back to you in thousand folds” is her philosophy of life.

She herself belongs to a middle-class family and was born and bought up in male dominating society. She experienced gender inequality in our society. As a woman, she is well versed with the problems faced by women. At an early age, she as a woman, herself witnessed the hardships faced by the poor and weaker sections of the society. She understands the need for extra efforts by society for the upliftment of the downtrodden.

She believes education alone can make them realize their rights and only then they can tread on the roads of prosperity. Her dream project is to build a unique school for underprivileged children & give free access to basic and better quality education for the needy.

Mr. Jeetendra Kumar Halwai (Managing Trustee)

He is a graduate with a master’s in business administration and a software engineer. He is an ardent follower of ethics. Belongs to a rich well settled educated family and has his own family business. He is a successful entrepreneur and has never experienced a pinch of poverty but has a very soft corner for poor people.

He provides the team of child help and cares foundation with strategies, ideas, and works closely with the management team in implementing the program.

from early times, he has been helping poor people but help was little and poverty was vast. So he devoted his time and support to Child Help and Care Foundation to reach out to a maximum number of marginalized children in need, empowering them and making them future-ready.

He is very social, humble, and devotes his time to solving the issues of children and focusing on providing education & healthcare to underprivileged children.

He has an unending reserve of energy & enthusiasm. When it comes to looking after the needs of the poor, he is extremely enterprising & innovative & finds solutions to difficult problems & situations very easily.

He is a leader, team player, committed and passionate about the cause of the children in need and protection. His principle “where there’s a will there’s a way” makes him strive hard to accomplish the tasks put forth to him.

Mr. Rajendra Thakur (Managing Trustee)

Coming from a rural background has helped him easily understand the need of educating the deprived section of society.

He is very social, humble and always extends his support for the holistic development of society.

He was born in a very small town in Maharashtra. he is working for a Pvt ltd firm and devotes his time and support to providing education & healthcare to underprivileged children. He joined our NGO so that his support can reach a maximum number of underprivileged children.

Mr. Lakhan Trivedi (Treasurer)

With over 45 years of corporate experience in accounts, It was his passion that motivated him to join the Child Help and Care Foundation as treasurer for the welfare of the poor and the underprivileged.

Has a deep understanding of the disparity in the opportunities available for the poor and underprivileged from urban and remote areas and low-income communities. He is a team player, a mentor, and a loyal and ardent supporter of the children in need and protection cause.

Has a deep passion for giving back to society. He is mindful of every child’s wellbeing looking over their needs with utmost dedication.
